Delores LaVern Smith, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Hospice of the Hills House.  She was 86 years old.

The daughter of Roy and LaVern Davis was born on April 27, 1938 in Lafayette, Indiana.

Delores was a founding member of Life Harvest Church, along with her husband, Ray Smith.  She enjoyed reading and discussing the bible.  Delores was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Smith; one son, Marvin Smith; her parents; and one brother, Roy Davis, Jr.

Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Julie and Bernard Brannon; three grandsons, Brent and Mike Brannon and Brandon Smith; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Rex (Lola) Davis and Marty Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Elmwood Cemetery.
