Delfred E. Waters, 84 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2018 surrounded by his family.

The son of David and Floy (McClarren) Waters was born July 29, 1933 at Springfield, Arkansas.

He was a resident of Harrison for 20 years, moving from Stephens, AR. Delfred proudly served his country for 10 years in the US Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran, receiving the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He enjoyed collecting old memorabilia from his youth.

Delfred loved his family and treasured spending time with his grandkids. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, and was always very involved with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James and Kenneth Waters.

Delfred is survived by his wife of 65 years, Martha Waters of the home; three sons, Mike Waters and wife Libby of Pine Bluff, Danny Waters and wife Twyla and Tommy Waters and wife Julie all of Harrison; two sisters, Janice Turney of Lakeland, WA and Pat Reed of AR; two sisters-in-law, Claudine Waters of Little Rock and Jearlene Waters of Jacksonville; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, June 4, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Bro. Kennith Stacy officiating. Private family burial will be at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
