Omaha
Debra Louise Barron, age 74, of Omaha, Arkansas, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at home with her family by her side.
The daughter of George and Hazel (Martin) Eddings was born January 13, 1952, at Ceres, California. She moved to Arkansas at age 6 and grew up in Marion County. She was a 1970 graduate of Pyatt High School, where she was also a cheerleader. She had worked several years at Bank of America and for Noland Corporation. She was a faithful member of Miracle Lighthouse Church.
She met the love of her life, John Barron, while attending school – they just didn’t know at that time their paths would cross again later in life. They married and created a blended family that would grow into a legacy of love and devotion not only to each other, but to the Lord. Their love bloomed for 41 blessed years.
Debra loved crafting, especially making jewelry and essential oils. She loved entertaining friends and family at her home; she was an exceptional hostess. She loved to travel and vacation with John. She also loved to spend time with her dog, Ollie.
Debra had steadfast and unwavering faith in the Lord. She had a passionate devotion to her family and loved to spend time with them. She was loved endlessly by everyone who knew her, and she was a light to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Todd and Aaron Swartz; and her brother, Terry Eddings and wife, Kathy.
Debra is survived by her husband, John Barron; three sons, Nathan Swartz and wife, Erica, Anthony Swartz, Michael Barron and wife, Melissa; her daughter, Sheri Beaver and husband, Lynn; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Dennis Barron and wife Beneva and Robert Barron and wife, Debbie; a host of extended family, many dear friends, and her beloved church family at Miracle Lighthouse.
