DeAnna Conner, age 55 of Harrison, AR went to rest with the Lord Sunday, March 12, 2006 at her home.

She was born in Oswego, KS August 26, 1950, a daughter of Walter and Mary Lamb. She was adopted and raised by Jack E. and Maxine (Werremeyer)Jennings. She married her husband, James Edwin Conner, Jr. July 31, 1968 at Ft. Scott, KS. They had lived in Harrison since 1983, having moved from Kansas. She excelled in combat pistol shooting, was a member of NRA, and enjoyed her grandchildren and lab dogs. She was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church and was a Credit Supervisor for Fed Ex Freight.

Those that preceded her in death were a son, James Edwin Conner, III; her adoptive mother, Maxine; and two brothers.

DeAnna is survived by her husband, James E. Conner, Jr. of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sally Conner of Harrison; adoptive father, Jack E. Jennings of Harrison; and two grandchildren, Levi Conner and BriAnna Conner both of Harrison.

Funeral services for DeAnna were held March 15th, 2006 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Committal services were March 16th at Ft. Scott National Cemetery in Ft. Scott, KS. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Hills, P.O. Box 1927, Harrison, AR 72602.
