David Coolidge Criner age 96 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Newton County Nursing Home.
The son of James Sr. and Ethel (Jones) Criner was born on May 30, 1925 in Mount Judea, Arkansas.
David loved his Lord and Savior. He grew up attending a non-denominational church. He was an organic gardener and enjoyed helping others with their gardens. David also enjoyed fly fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, James Criner, Jr. and L.R. Criner; 2 sisters, Norma Foster and June Brewer.
David is survived by his loving wife Linda Criner; 3 step daughters; Connie Smith, Delonda Traylor and Vivian Pinkley; a sister, Mary Davis, of Oklahoma City, OK; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Mount Judea Cemetery with Rev. Walter Carl McCutcheon officiating.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers will be Greg Criner, Bruse Criner, Wriston Ricketts, Thias Williams, Gavin Amick, and Heather Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Robert Smith and Chancy Compton.
