David Dale Carter, age 59 of Parthenon, AR, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR.

The son of Leon Johnny and Joan Marie (Sarver) Carter was born May 8, 1962 in Harrison, AR.

He is preceded in death by his father; his sister, Barbara Middleton; and an infant brother.

David worked at several different jobs around Newton County during his lifetime.  He really liked doing old-time craftwork on his own like wood carving and building things. He could do almost anything he set his mind to.  He was confident in his trust in Jesus Christ for his salvation and future.  And he was well-known by those who knew him for his knowledge of the Bible.

David is survived by his mother, Joan Marie Carter of Parthenon; and his brothers, Roy Carter and his wife Sheri of Deer, AR; Troy Gene Carter of Parthenon, and Johnny Carter of Harrison.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Union Hill Cemetery with Brother Stanton Willis officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Kilburn, Kirby Carlton, Richard Chasteen, Johnny Joe Phillips, Keith Brown, and Marvin Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Union Hill Cemetery Fund at either Anstaff Bank or Bank OZK both in Jasper.
