David Lee Barker, age 41, of Erbie, Arkansas, passed away at home on Monday, August 16, 2021.  The son of Billy Lee Barker and Marian (Mangum) Barker was born on October 5, 1979 in Alexandria, Louisiana.

David was a 1997 graduate of Jasper High School.  He loved being on the farm, looking at the mountains, the creek and watching deer.  The highlights of his day were his daily trips to the mailbox.  He loved playing basketball and had recently taken up shooting pool.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Anthony Steve Deville, his grandparents, two brothers, Richard Ladale Barker and Michael Anthony Deville; 2 aunts, Marjorie (Polly) Little and Barbara Lauderdale and uncle, Jack Mangum, Jr.

David is survived by his mother, Marian Dianne Barker of Erbie; his father and step-mother, Billy Lee and Jada Barker of Ball, Louisiana; three brothers, Billy Jack (Melissa) Barker of Mill Creek, Dustin Anthony Barker of Erbie and Joseph (Jessica) Barker of Louisiana; a sister, Mariha Deville of Oklahoma ; two nieces, Alivia Barker and Kennedy (Tyler) Morphis; two great nephews, Jackson and Jameson Morphis; two aunts, Clarice Carney of Tioga, Louisiana and Shirley Littleton of Alexandria, Louisiana and many cousins, extended family and friends who loved him and will miss him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
