Obituary

Daphne Marie Sain, age 86 of Cowell, Arkansas, fell asleep in death on October 9, 2006 at the Atkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Atkins, AR. She was born Feb. 12, 1920 at Cowell, Arkansas, the daughter of Alfred and Lou (Nesbitt) Curtis. She was a homemaker, a lifetime resident of Newton County and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses at Deer.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and one brother, Rutherford Curtis.
On October 1, 1938, she married James "Buddy" Sain and to this union, five children were born. All five survive her which are: Glenna Adams of Lurton, Jim Sain of Cowell, Kay Barber of Pottsville, Joe Sain and Nedra Breedlove both of Cowell; also surviving are one brother, Harrell L. Curtis of Harrisonville, MO; nine grandsons, Rick Adams, Jeff Adams, David Sain, Cliff Sain, Michael Barber, Brian Breedlove, Matthew Breedlove, Nathan Sain and Devin Sain; two granddaughters, Ember Barber and Jeannette Adams; eleven great grandchildren; nephews, nieces and many friends.
Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Cowell Cemetery with Ken Morphis officiating.
Pallbearers are her grandchildren and the nursing staff of Atkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will be honorary pallbearers.
Service is conducted by Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
