John Dan "Danny" Scogins, age 76 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on Monday October 16, 2023 in Harrison.

The son of John Paul and Joyce Marie (Cecil) Scogins was born on January 4, 1947 in Harrison.

Danny was one of the most personable people you would ever meet and he never met a stranger.  He loved animals, farming, the land and was an avid Harrison Goblin sports fan.  He worked for E.A. Martin, AP&L for over 15 years, and most recently worked for the Harrison School District as a bus driver, where he had his own bus route and also drove many Goblin athletic teams to their away games for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Patsy (Keeter) Scogins; 3 sisters, Frances Harris, Bobbie Scogins and Ginger Scogins; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.

A memorial service for Danny will be held on Friday October 20, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Elmwood Baptist Church with Mitchell Rains officiating.  The family requests in lieu of flowers that you please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
