Dan M. Graham, age 86 of Harrison, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday, January 1, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
Dan was born June 18, 1925 at Handley, Texas to Ernest O. and Winburn (Montague) Graham.
He was a Christian of the Baptist faith.
Dan served his country in World War II in the European Theatre.
He was married to Hazel Guilliam on January 17, 1948. They resided in Oklahoma City for 40 years where Dan worked for Oklahoma Gas & Electric Company and also the Campfire Girls Camp Dakani until his retirement in 1987. They then moved to Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Helen and Mary Lea; and two brothers, Buddy and W.D.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Hazel; sons, Danny of the home and David and wife Lela of Rogers, AR; a daughter, Mary and husband Joe Crim of Springfield, MO; two granddaughters, Audrea and husband Joel Ray of Bergman and Anissa and husband Dallas McLemore of Newalla, OK; a grandson, Phillip Graham of Rogers; five great-grandchildren, Madyson and Mason Ray, Shyanne, Shelby and Dalton McLemore; and numerous nieces and nephews who mourn his passing.
He will be greatly missed by his brother-in-law, Ernest Johnson of Nacoma Park, OK and sister-in-law, Helen Myrik of Harrison.
At Dan's request there will be no visitation.
Graveside service was Friday, January 6, 2012 at Eoff Cemetery with Barron Ray officiating.
Pallbearers were Lyndon Johnson, Joel Ray, Phillip Graham, Joe Crim, Dallas McLemore, and Johnny Johnson.
Arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home.
