Obituary
Maurice Dale Drewry, age 73 of Harrison, passed away Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009 at the Harrison Hospice House.
The son of Bruce and Gene (Robertson) Drewry, he was born at Richland, Arkansas on March 27, 1936.
A lifetime resident of this area, he was of the Pentecostal faith and worked in Housekeeping for the local hospital.
Dale loved and enjoyed his family, especially spending time with the great grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death, along with his wife, Patsy Drewry and one brother, David Drewry.
He is survived by one daughter, Judy Biggs and her husband, Kenny of Harrison; four brothers, John Sudderth of Denison, Texas, Daniel Drewry of Springfield, MO, Lawrence and Clarence Drewry both of Valley Springs; four sisters, Virginia Kelly of Pottsville, Pat Gregory of St. Joe, Deanna Turney of Pindall, and Connie Harris of Dothan, AL; four grandchildren, Brittany Evans, Cindy Biggs, Ashley Biggs, and Brandon Biggs; and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday, August 11, 2009 with the service on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, both at Coffman Funeral Home. Burial followed in Carver Cemetery. Dennis Sisco officiated.
Pallbearers were Jim Renfroe, Wade Gibbons, Carl Edwards, Russell Farmer, Tim Farmer and Brad Eddings. Honorary pallbearers were Tony Evans, Michael Horton, Devon Kuechlin, and Heather Biggs.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice House, 501 E. Sherman, Harrison, AR 72601.
