Daisy B. Owens, age 90, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2006 at Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper. The daughter of William F. and Daisy A. (Dinwiddie) Davidson, was born November 2, 1916 at Hasty. She had lived most of her life in this area, was a homemaker and of Pentecostal faith.
Visitation was Wednesday, Dec. 27th at Coffman Funeral in Harrison. Service was held Thursday, Dec. 28th at Yardell Chapel. Burial followed in Sand Hill Cemetery at Yardell. Pallbearers were her grandsons.

Her parents; 2 brothers; 4 sisters; 1 grandson and 4 great grandchildren all preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, W. Lewis Farmer of K. C., MO and James "Gene" Farmer of Seadrift, Texas; three daughters, Rose Mary Hester of Alexander, AR, Patricia Hacker of Holden, MO and Shirley Shatswell of Western Grove, AR; two brothers, Glen Davidson of Harrison and Jim Davidson of Western Grove; one sister, Bonnie Hopkins of Houston, TX; 17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
