Anthony Craig King, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 52.

The son of Martin and Karen (Jones) King was born in Harrison on September 15, 1969.  He lived in North Little Rock for 15 years and returned to Harrison.  He was a former employee of Country Mart and Rock Tenn.

Craig graduated from Harrison High School in 1987.  While in school, he was in the HHS Marching Band, Jazz Band, Choir and Chamber Singers, receiving All Region Band and All Region Choir honors.  He was an accomplished musician who excelled at playing snare, tri-tom and bass drum as well as the piano. He had an endearing love and a gift for music.

Craig was so proud of his son Tyler and daughter-in-law, Miranda.  He also loved his dog, Polly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Fronia King and Silby and Alyce Jones; an infant sister, Lisa Michelle King and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Craig is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tyler Crowell King and Miranda King of Marble, AR; his parents, Martin and Karen Jones King of Harrison; his sister, Sarah Elizabeth King; and his longtime friend since high school, Lon Stuckey of Springfield, MO; and many other extended relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, October 14 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Bro. Dewey McGarrah officiating.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service, beginning at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the King family to help defray final expenses.
