Obituary
Coy J. Eddings , age 61 of St. Joe, passed away at Harrison Hospice House on Friday, April 30, 2010.
The son of Bill and Lorene (Martin) Eddings, he was born Dec. 20, 1948 at Harrison, Arkansas.
He lived in Searcy County for his whole life and avidly enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Penny; one son , Brian Eddings and one sister, Loretta Sisco.
Survivors include his mother, Lorene Eddings of St. Joe; one son, Robert Eddings and wife, Vanessa of St. Joe; two brothers, Billy Eddings of Fayetteville and Roy Eddings of St. Joe; four sisters, Elvida Lowery of Valley Springs, Coeta Hensley of Valley Springs, Almeda Harris of Eros and Leveta Snyder of Eros; and two grandchildren, Anabelle and Cole Eddings.
Visitation was Sunday, May 2, 2010
with the service Monday, May 3, 2010 both at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Burial followed in Western Grove Cemetery. Paul Holder officiated.
Pallbearers were Kyle Sisco, Travis Eddings, Gabe Hensley, Zack Eddings, Shane Collins and Jamie Begley. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Corey Jackson and all of his hunting and fishing buddies.
