Cornelious Carl Smith, age 90 of Hasty, AR, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

The son of Orvil and Della May (Bolin) Smith was born March 14, 1932 in Newton County, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Florene Joyce (Fiveash) Smith; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Cornelious enjoyed hunting and playing his guitar and singing with his friends. He was a Newton County Assessor for 20 years, a County Judge for 4 years, and retired from the AR Hwy Dept. He was a Mason and a life time Lodge member.

Cornelious is survived by his son, Gary Smith and wife Julie of Marble Falls, AR; his daughter, Della Darlene Trammell and husband Wesley of Harrison; 4 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

The funeral will be 2:00 PM, Monday, December 12, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor David Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery in Hasty.

Pallbearers will be Roger Greenhaw, Nelson Greenhaw, Josh Smith, Cody Smith, Neal Gibson, and Shannon McAfee.

Honorary pallbearers are Joe Cross and the Masonic Lodge.
