Cordie Lou Eddings, age 82, of Valley Springs, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her home.
The daughter of Robert and Della (Hunter) Fisk was born on April 6, 1931 in Richland, Arkansas.
Cordie was a member of the Hog Creek House of Prayer. She worked at Duncan Parking Meter for over 20 years and was a homemaker later in life. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to cook big dinners.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rufus Eddings; a daughter, Ada Kathleen Eddings; two brothers, Charlie Fisk and Walter Fisk; and two sisters, Ida Mae Martin and Velma Surber.
She is survived by 3 sons, Jacky Eddings and wife Charolette of Pindall, AR, Rufus Eddings Jr. and wife Betty of St. Joe, AR and Reggie Eddings and wife Brenda of St. Joe, AR; 3 daughters, Marilynn Bandy and husband David of St. Joe, AR, Marie Manning and husband George of Harrison, AR and Alma Scott and husband Monte of Valley Springs, AR; one brother, Benoya Fisk of St. Joe, AR; 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and many others who will mourn her passing.
Services was held Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Robert Wyatt officiating. Burial followed in Western Grove Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, May 23 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters and Dr. Kevin Jackson.
