Connie Sue Kilgore, age 65 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

The daughter of the late Lawrence Smith and the late Julia (Shackelford) Smith was born December 26, 1946 in Kingsville, Missouri.

She was employed at the Newton County Nursing Home for many years as the Housekeeping and Laundry supervisor. She loved to deer hunt, going fishing and garage sales, but most of all, she loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dwayne Bartlett; second husband, Ira Kilgore; a daughter, Peggy Eddings; a brother, Joe Smith; a nephew, James Bradshaw and her parents, Lawrence and Julia Smith.

Survivors are a daughter, Barbara Teach and husband, Daniel of Jasper; daughter, Audra Warren and husband, Greg of Morrilton; daughter, Sheila Crawford and husband, Carl of Holt, MO and a son, Stephen Kilgore and wife, Jona of Jasper. Two brothers, Kelly Smith of Montrose, MO and Charlie Smith of Kingsville, MO; four sisters, Mary Richardson of Pleasant Hill, MO, Patsy Morrison of Holden, MO, Janette Smith of Holden, MO and Judy Strutton of Missouri. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services were Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Bro. James Compton officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Sherman Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers were Eric Wilson, Clayton Wilson, Roger Eddings, Austin Eddings, Trevor Eddings, Chris Madison, Jamie Henderson and Chris Halley. Honorary pallbearers were Russell Garrison, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and the staff of Newton County Nursing Home.
