Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Frankie Coetta Crow, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who peacefully departed from this world on May 4, 2026 in her sleep at the age of 83.

Born on December 19, 1942, in the quaint town of Snowball, Arkansas, Coetta was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. She was a devoted Christian, baptized in 1978 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Her life was a testament to the beauty of simplicity, the warmth of family, and the joy found in life’s everyday moments.

She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Marvin Crow, her father, Loyd Qualls, her mother, Ruble Bandy Qualls, her stepmother, Linda Qualls, her brother, Buford Qualls, Her sisters, Louetta Qualls Pettis and Wanda Qualls Finney.

Coetta is survived by a loving family that includes her four children: Randy (Tracy) Crow, Steve Crow, Dale Crow, and Benita (Kris) Mealer. Her brothers, Eugene (Pat) Qualls, Ricky Qualls, Don (Brandi) Qualls and Ronald Qualls. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Keisha (Derrek) Aynes, Bethaney (Garrett) Duggins, Jordan (Katlynne) Crow, Kayla Crow Cummings (Darin Bailey), Briana (Macllain) Edington, and Britney (Chase) Hochard, as well as her great-grandchildren: Espen and Emmi Aynes, Otto Duggins, Keegan and Elena Crow, Justin Bailey, Carter Cummings, Wyatt Bailey and Maya and Lyla Hochard, who brought endless joy to her life.

Coetta was known for her spirited personality. She enjoyed simple pleasures such as camping, mowing her lawn and the occasional accidental fire, which she often recounted with a twinkle in her eye. Her porch was a gathering place where family and friends would sit for hours, sharing stories, laughter, and love.

A master of practical jokes, Coetta had a pendant for April Fool’s Day, bringing smiles to the faces of those she held dear. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, where she lovingly prepared meals that brought everyone together creating memories that will be cherished forever.

A graveside service to honor Coetta’s life will be held on May 13 at 3:00 pm at Elmwood Cemetery in Harrison, Arkansas, where family will gather to celebrate her life and bid her a heartfelt farewell.

Coetta lived a life full of love, laughter, and legacy. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the beautiful memories and the love she so graciously shared with us all.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gassville Nursing and Rehab or Hospice of the Ozarks, for the compassionate care and kindness they showed to Coetta in her final days.
