Obituary

Clyde Delbert "Body Hammer" Vaughn, age 78 of Bergman, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas.

The son of Bill and Annabelle (Spencer) Vaughn was born August 14, 1934 in New Bloomfield, Missouri.

Clyde served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an auto body painter and auto body man. He was the Constable of Bergman for 6 years and was an avid dirt track racer. He enjoyed tinkering with anything and enjoyed his dune buggies.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Gene Powell.

Survivors are his soul mate, Patty Martin of Bergman; children, Jimmie Wilson and wife, Leslie of Joplin, Missouri, Vernon Martin and wife, Cindy of Harrison, and Lloyd Delbert Vaughn and wife, Ann Marie of Bellefonte, Arkansas; sister, Charlotte and husband, John of Missouri; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Walters officiating.

Burial will follow in York Cemetery with pallbearers being Jim Wilson, Justin Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Austin Wilson, Darian Wilson, and Robert Espy.

Honorary pallbearers are Clyde's nieces and nephews, and Bill House and Don Gourd.
