Clyde Nichols, of Harrison, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at his home.  He was 80 years old.

The son of John Jeff and Mary Louise (Nunnely) Nichols was born on March 11, 1943 in Hollow Rock, Tennessee.

Clyde worked as the Head of Maintenance at several area hotels for many years and at Lee Mace's Ozark Opry.  He was of the Christian faith.  Clyde loved game shows, western movies, and going to yard sales.  He absolutely loved and adored his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Pat and Wanda; and two brothers, John and Tommy.

Survivors include six daughters, Penny (Barry), Tina (John), Aimee (Larry), Amber (Robby), Shannon, and Kim (Robert); one brother, James (Joyce); one sister, Jenny (Carey); 14 grandchildren, Caleb (Laura), Jake, Brendon, Courtney (Jacob), Paige (Elijah), Garrett, Trenton, Braden, Emily (Justin), Lane, Haylee (Skyler), Savanna (Cole), Alexx, and Bobby; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is Friday, November 3, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.

Graveside service will be Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Maple Leaf Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Jake Hardin, Caleb Hardin, Tim McCutcheon, Mark Bray, Robby Stewart, and Jacob Boswell.
