Clenton "Woody" Freeman, of Mount Judea, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Yellville at the age of 78.
The son of Ernie and Ethel (Foster) Freeman was born August 12, 1938 in Mount Judea, Arkansas. He was a lifetime resident of the area, living in Newton and Marion Counties. Woody was a truck driver for over 50 years and a member of the Welcome Ridge Church.
He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh, and he enjoyed spending time at the lake and going fishing. Woody loved the Lord and he loved his kids, he will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Norma Freeman, a brother, Paul Freeman and step-daughter, Terri Post.
Woody is survived by two sons, Danny Freeman and wife Imagene of Mount Judea, Gerald Freeman of Lakeway; three daughters, JoJo Freeman and her partner Randy Kent of Mount Judea, Lorri Lapp and husband Robert of Harrison and Pat Langston and husband Bill of Harrison; a step-daughter, Lorrie Budden and husband Russell; two brothers, Junior and Mecky; four sisters, Pauline, Bernice, Betty and Kay; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 17, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Bro. Howard Gene Saylors officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Judea Cemetery with Bro. Gary Johnson officiating.
Woody's children would like their family and friends to join them to share memories and stories at a visitation to be held Thursday from 5-7 PM at the Mount Judea School Cafeteria.
