Cledys Edith Sanchez, age 86, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Florencio and Rosa (Galastrani) Luque was born in San Fransisco, Córdoba, Argentina on April 19, 1936.  She has been a resident of Harrison for the past 26 years.

Cledys was a Jehovah's Witness and attended the Kindgom Hall.  She married Joseph Sanchez in 1956 in San Fransisco, Córdoba, Argentina, and they had one son, Victor.  She was a talented artist, and excelled in paintings, drawings, clay figurines, and needle art.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jospeh Sanchez in December 2019; her parents, and a brother and a sister.

Cledys is survived by her son, Victor Sanchez; her sister, Lydia Saunig of Argentina; and several nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Kingdom Hall.
