Claudie Ruth Kroamer, age 85 of Harrison, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2007 at NARMC. The daughter of Orvel and Rachel (Coleman) Selvidge, was born July 19, 1921 at Wheeler, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and attended Batavia Assembly of God Church. She previously worked as a nurse's aide at Boone County Hospital and worked at R&G with her family and friends. Her grandchildren and family were very special to her, which she enjoyed spending time with.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Saunders; a daughter, Barbara Hunt; two brothers, Wallace and Gene Selvidge; two sisters, Marion Plumlee and Maxine Clayton; and a daughter-in-law, Ruth Saunders.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Kroamer of the home; a son, Boudy Kroamer of Mt. Vernon, MO; six daughters, Frances Breedlove, Janie Presley and Ginger Bolin all of Batavia, Sandra Bailey of Bergman, Faye Eddings of Fallsville and Pat Wilcox of Alpena; 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Thursday at Coffman Funeral Home. Service was Friday at Batavia Assembly of God Church with Bro. Tollie Sutterfield and Bro. Dennis Selvidge officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Zachary Kroamer, Kurtis Payne, Jeremy Allen, Michael Paul Eddings, Eugene Breedlove, and Verlin Bolin.
Honorary Pallbearers were David Dean, Travis Breedlove and Michael Presley.
