Clara Roberts, age 61 of Springfield, Missouri died at her home Thursday, January 26, 2012 following an extended illness.

She was a longtime resident of Harrison, having moved to Springfield in 2002.

She was born January 2, 1951 in Springfield, a daughter of Roscoe and Carrie (King) Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Roberts of the home; a son, Jason Pence and wife Dena of Harrison; two grandsons, Dustin and Robert Pence of Harrison; four granddaughters, Brittany Pence of Yellville, Kyleigh and Lorraina Pence of Harrison, and Courtney Pence of Lead Hill; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Jr Johnson and wife Genevie Johnson of Pleasant Hope, Missouri; three sisters, Elizabeth Bell and Larry, Kathy McAllister, and Dorothy Biggs and husband Randy all of Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends who will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, J.C. "Pete" Pence; a son, Eric Pence; two brothers, Jerry Johnson and Bill Johnson; three sisters, Louise Johnson, Nora Fisher and Carrie Rider.

Visitation will be 1-2 P.M. Thursday, February 2, 2012 with service following at 2 P.M. both at Church 180 in Harrison. Burial will follow in Denver Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
