Christopher Barry Rogers, age 53, of Harrison, Arkansas, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, October 4, 2024.

The son of Gentry Rogers and Deborah (Russell) Rogers Wilson was born in Harrison on July 2, 1971.  He was a lifelong resident of Boone County and attended school at Alpena.  He was a US Army Veteran and worked for many years pulling mobile homes alongside his dad.

He attended Pilgrims Progress Church, and he was on fire for God.  He loved Jesus no matter the circumstances he was facing.

Chris was a talented artist, everything from sketching to tattoos. He loved to ride motorcycles and play music, especially the guitar. He was a jokester and his antics were guaranteed to make you laugh. He loved to entertain his grandkids with magic tricks. His positive attitude was infectious, and his raspy voice unforgettable.

He was a loving son, brother, and Pa to his grandkids. Chris was as gentle as a teddy bear and his big heart will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gentry Rogers; grandparents, George and Evalyne Rogers and Bert and Betty Russell, and several aunts and uncles.

Chris is survived by his mother, Debbie Wilson; two daughters, Jessica Madrid (Ben) and Kayla Rogers; three grandkids, Alyssa Mills, Layton Mills, and Katelynn Mooney; two brothers, Glenn Taylor and Derek Cantwell (Carrie); two sisters, Denise Munjak (Derek) and Shelly Ragan; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many dear friends.

Private burial will be in Milum Cemetery at Lead Hill.
