Obituary
Christina Sue "Chris" (Fondren) Laxson of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at home at the age of 44.
The daughter of John Albert Fondren, Jr. and Martina (Fields) Fondren was born January 30, 1972 at Flint, Michigan.
She moved to Arkansas in 1992 coming from Owosso, Michigan. She loved her kids and being part of their lives. She loved to style hair and had taken up painting recently. She loved the snow and her kids would tell you she loved chicken.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Martin and Dorothy Fields, Maryetta Feltner and John Albert "Jay" Fondren, Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Tina Fondren of Jasper; her husband Kenny Laxson of the home; 4 daughters, Ashley Anderson (Kurt), Casey Folks, Gracie Folks and Gabby Folks, all of Harrison; a step-son, Kade Laxson of Bergman; a brother, John Albert Fondren, III of Jasper, a sister, Jennifer Lynn Stacey (Michael) of Jasper; 2 grandchildren, Hadley and Cash Anderson; and her mother-in-law, Lynn Johnson of Council Bluffs, IA; and many other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her.
Private memorial services will be held at Mt. Sherman Cemetery at a later date.
Cremation and arrangements by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
