Obituary
Charolette Jean (Winkler) Barnard, age 65 of Western Grove, Arkansas, went to be with Jesus Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The daughter of Homer and Euna (Edwards) Winkler was born on June 22, 1949 in Fayetteville, Arkansas
She had lived over 40 years in Western Grove and was a member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church. Charolette Was a homemaker and had enjoyed 47 years with her husband Raymond. Through the years they enjoyed camping, working in church ministry and raising their family.
She also enjoyed making cakes, bargain shopping, playing the piano, and singing. She especially loved spending time with her family and being "mamaw". Charolette's love for God, family, and music was evident in her life and you could always hear her humming a tune.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Solon and Margie Barnard.
She is survived by her husband Raymond Barnard of the home; her daughter Sherry Smith and her husband Keith of Prairie Grove, AR; her son Scott Barnard and his wife Melissa of Harrison, AR; her grandchildren Ike Smith, Chris Barnard and wife Stephanie, Bethani(Smith) Valentine and husband Kirby, Faith Smith, Hunter Barnard and Brady Barnard; her sister Betty Barnard and husband Darrell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gary and Sammye Barnard all of Valley Springs, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was 6:00 to 8:00 P.M Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, AR.
Funeral service was 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Harrison, AR. with Reverend Ron Barnard officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mitch Gahlbeck, Scott Haymes, Bryan Barnard, Garrett Barnard, Spencer Barnard, Nathan Barnard, Caleb Wright, and Blake Wright.
Honorary pallbearers are Brody Barnard, William Barnard, Jordan Barnard, Solon Barnard, and Alex Haymes.
In Charolette's remembrance donations may be made to Hillcrest Nursing Home, 1111 Maplewood Road, Harrison, AR. 72601.
