Obituary
Charlotte "Sherry" R. Lanning, age 68 of Olvey, AR passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The daughter of Ferdinand and Lillian (Niehaus) Kemner was born March 9, 1938 in Triffon, Ohio.
Those that preceded her in death were her parents; her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. James Lanning; and her brother-in-law, John Lanning.
She had lived in this area for 8 years, moving from Woodridge, Illinois. She was of the Catholic faith. She was a customer service specialist for UPS and enjoyed gardening and her retirement.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Lanning of the home; daughter, Veronica Lanning of Woodridge, IL; son, Keith Lanning and his wife, Rachel of Woodstock, GA; brother, Larry Kemner and his wife, Sylvia of Taylorville, IL; and grandchildren, Ainsley, Dan and Mike.
Service was held Saturday at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Rev. Gregory G. Hart officiating. Burial was in Warner Cemetery at Olvey. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer was Dr. Kenneth Collins. Visitation was Friday at the funeral home.
