Obituary

Charlie Houston "Chuck" McCutchen, 53 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at home.

He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 11, 1966, the son of Mitchell McCutchen and Carolyn Craft. He lived in Kansas City most of his life and attended Liberty Church of Christ.

Chuck loved music, especially classic rock and the band Rush. He also played drums. He was generous, and would give you the shirt off his back. He was a hard worker until his health no longer permitted.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Gertrude McCutchen, Houston and Margaret Craft, an aunt, Ruth Ann Miller and his step-mother, Bernice McCutchen.

Chuck is survived by his children, Stephen McCutchen and Krystal Sedgwick, both of Kansas City; his father, Mitchell McCutchen of Mount Judea; his mother, Carol Craft of Wichita; his brother, Allen McCutchen (Constance) of Hasty; four grandchildren, Jaxon, Hannah, Dylan and Taylor; and his aunts and uncles, Mildred Rains, Luell McCutchen, Marilyn Craft Matson, Mack Craft, Betty Craft Kieffer and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives who loved him and will miss him.

Due to current government restrictions on public gatherings the funeral will be private. There is no visitation.
