Jim proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Navy and later devoted twenty years to ministry as the pastor of Hill Top Community Bible Church. He found great joy in the outdoors, especially hiking, but nothing meant more to him than the time he spent with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Madonna McCollough; two sons and their wives, Peter and Ashley McCollough and Paul and Keri McCollough; two sisters, June Travis and Janice Beddow; seven grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial visitation will be at 1:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM both on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.  Rodney Stromlund will officiate.
