Obituary
Charles Robert Holcomb, age 68 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
He was born October 21, 1943 in Pontotoc, Mississippi to Roy Dewitt Holcomb and Mary Elliott (Witten) Holcomb.
He was a truck driver and enjoyed trucks and NASCAR. He could fix anything, and liked to garden and cook. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and was a wonderful grandfather to his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robbie Holcomb; and a brother, Tommy Holcomb.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry (Jackson) Holcomb of the home; two sons, Dane Holcomb of Berryville, Arkansas and Shannon Holcomb of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter, Jodie Holcomb Hutchins of Neosho, Missouri; two brothers, Jim Holcomb of Franklin, Tennessee and Don Holcomb of Berryville, Arkansas; and one sister, Marilyn Dohr of Benton, Illinois; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family who will mourn his passing.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
There will be a memorial service held for Charles at his home at a later date.
