Obituary
Charles H. Smith, age 70 of Batavia, Arkansas passed away at home Monday, May 27, 2013.
The son of Homer and Elsie (Farmer) Smith was born June 11, 1942 at Vendor, Arkansas.
Charles was an avid outdoorsman who loved horses and trading. He was also a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James, Clifford and Linous Smith; and brothers-in-law, Dennis Kilgore and Gene Watson.
Survivors are his wife, Sharon K. (Still) Smith; children, Donnie Terherst and wife, Kim and Sonya Bruce and husband, Rickie; grandchildren, Jason and Paige Terherst, Brittany and Cory Bennett, Tiffany Terherst, and Billy and Kent Bruce; great-grandchildren, Austin Bennett and Jerron Terherst; brothers, Vernon, Clinton and Bobby Smith; sisters, Alta Watson and Darlene Kilgore; and sisters-in-law, Lovida Smith and Ida Mae Smith.
Visitation was Thursday, May 30, 2013 with the service Friday, May 31, 2013 both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Arlis Burks and Doyle Root officiating.
Burial followed in Sanders Cemetery at Batavia with pallbearers being James Still, Henry Phillips, Boice Hankins, Rickie Bruce, Harold Smith, and Jason Terherst.
Charles will be missed and was loved by all.
