Charles Wayne Daniel, age 81, passed from this dying world to the living world on October 28, 2025, at University Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born on June 20, 1944 to Ernest and Margaret (Crawford) Daniel.  Wayne grew up in Lurton, Arkansas which was always home to him and considered everyone in Lurton family.

Wayne graduated from Deer High School in 1961 then attended The School of the Ozarks, in Hollister, Missouri, where he met and married Emma Corene Thompson.  Everyone called Wayne, "Arkie" so his wife continued the nickname and changed it to "Arkie Sue" when he was in trouble.  The couple lived and worked in Kansas City, Missouri for a few years but Arkansas always called them back home.

Wayne was a self-employed builder with his own business called, "Wayne Daniel Builder, Inc." since 1973.  He built and remodeled houses, amongst many other things, all over Arkansas.  He never retired but just slowly let Chad, one of his sons, take over and then Wayne became the helper.  Wayne later started doing arts and craft with wood and metal.  His hands had to stay busy.

Wayne lived from one hunting season to the next and had planned to be at Daniel Deer Camp instead of Heaven, but he's a winner either way.

He was preceded in passing by his parents; one brother, Richard; and two nephews, John and Tommy Daniel.

Survivors include his sister Betty Ann (Daniel) Thomas; his wife, Corene Daniel, of Mabelvale, Arkansas; his children, Corena Dawn Johnson (Jay), of Mabelvale, Arkansas, Kevin Wayne (Susan)  Daniel, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, and Chad Daniel (Jennifer),of Marshall, Arkansas; his much loved grandchildren, Lauren Ellis (Hunter), Corey Daniel, Daniel Keith Johnson (his favorite), Ashley (Johnson) Edmonson (Carson), Kaylen, John Wayne, and Justin Daniel; three great grands, Paisley, Ava, and Briar Ellis; and a host of other family and friends.

Wayne's final advice was, "Choose Jesus Christ our Savior, or you are toast."

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM both on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Lurton Assembly of God Church. Stan Taylor will officiate.  Burial will be in Tarlton Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
