Brenda Charlene Shaver, of Compton passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024. She was 74 years old.

The daughter of Cleatis and Chrystene (Villines) Clark was born on June 20, 1949 in Harrison, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Scott Shaver; and her brother, Charles Clark.

Charlene was a founding member of County Line Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and wanted everyone to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Charlene is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ron Shaver; sons, Clark Shaver and Chris Shaver; grandchildren, Alanna (Brett) Henson, Taylor (Conner) Wilson, Lane Shaver and Colton Shaver; great grandchildren, Bridjer Henson, Baylor Henson and Cove Wilson; sisters, Kay Snow and Michelle Clark; several nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Beechwood Cemetery Fund, 1045 CR 819 Green Forest, AR 72638.
