Obituary
Charlene Pittman, age 87 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away, Friday, January 24, 2014 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The daughter of Frank and Nellie (Sappington) Carlyle was born August 19, 1926 in Shamrock, Oklahoma.
Charlene lived in Harrison for 37 years, moving here from Dallas, Texas. She loved to read, garden and grow roses, and especially loved spending time with her family.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents: her husband, Robert Pittman: and two sisters, Alma Cason and Vera Lee.
She is survived by her son, Mark Pittman of Harrison; two daughters, Kathy Hensley and husband, David of Tacoma, Washington and Pam Evans and husband, Tony of Harrison, and five grandchildren.
Visitation was open Wednesday, January 29, 2014 with the service Thursday, January 30, 2014 both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Rev. Kerry Liggett officiated.
Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery with pallbearers being Matthew Evans, Mark Pittman, Tony Evans, and Aaron Evans.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Cason, Don Hutson and David Hensley.
