Obituary

Emma Charlene Brown, age 75, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 in Searcy.

The daughter of James and Bertha (Dees) Belding was born in Zinc, Arkansas on September 3, 1945.

She was a longtime resident of Searcy County, before moving to Searcy, where she was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God.

Charlene loved her grandchildren.  She also loved the Lord and being at church and spending time with her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha Belding; her son, Jimmy Newman; a brother, William Lee Belding and a sister, Barbara Jo Vick.

Charlene is survived by her daughter, Kelly Hinkle and husband Casey of Judsonia, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Morgan Hinkle, Brianna Hinkle, Brady Hinkle, Marissa Hinkle, Christina Mercer, Brittany Newman, Charlotte Newman, Liberty Mease and Jesse Wyatt; and many other extended relatives and dear friends who loved her and will miss her.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Majors officiating.  Burial will follow at York Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 – 2 PM.  In compliance with Covid-19 state mandates, all attendees must provide and wear face masks and observe social distancing.

Pallbearers are Brady Hinkle, Casey Hinkle, Dale Price, Eugene Greenhaw and Deric Rogers.
