IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cathleen Susan
Savage
April 12, 1967 – November 28, 2020
Cathleen Susan Savage, 53, of Harrison, Arkansas was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, November 28, 2020.
Cathleen was born on April 12, 1967 in Harrison, the daughter of Rex and Nadean (Smith) Savage. She loved the Lord and had a strong testimony of faith. She was a member of the Western Grove Bible Church and also attended Faith Baptist Chapel in Valley Springs.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nadean Savage, brother, Wayne Curry, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Cathleen is survived by her son, Tyler Savage and wife, Brooklyn; one grandson, RJ Slape; her father, Rex Savage, Sr.; her sister Gayla Sandy and husband Ken; her brother, Rex Dean Savage, Jr., and wife Rebekah, and her sister, Tammi Savage, who was also her caretaker and one of her best friends; one nephew Elisha Savage; three nieces, Stacey Bressler and husband Wil, Michelle Jenks and husband Aaron, and Magan Curry; 5 great nephews, Jaden Holt, Kory and River Jenks, David Huskisson III, and Koleman Curry; as well as a host of extended cousins, relatives and many dear friends.
She enjoyed working as a teacher's aide at surrounding schools and she touched the lives of many of her students.
Cathleen's greatest love was her son, Tyler. She was very proud of him and gladly opened her heart to his love of a lifetime and her daughter-in-law, Brooklyn, whom she loved dearly. She had a tremendous love for her family and a huge multitude of close friends, all who loved her just as much in return.
Throughout her life she was extremely passionate about photography, canoeing, hiking, gardening, and reading. Anyone who knew her knew of her love and talent for capturing God's beauty of waterfalls, flowers, sunrises and sunsets. She saw the beauty in the nature of the Ozarks. She also loved her dogs, Bentley, Dixie, Lucy, Jethro and Annie.
