Catherine Irene Phipps, of Western Grove, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  She was 76 years old.

The daughter of Willard and Arlene (Hartford) Phipps was born on December 7, 1948 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Catherine was a devoted Catholic and a long-time member of Mary Mother of God Catholic Church, where she practiced her faith with unwavering dedication. She retired from Levi Strauss after 20 years of loyal service.

In her spare time, Catherine found joy in creating beautiful jewelry and intricate beadwork. Her craftsmanship extended to a variety of handmade items, including purses, bags, rosaries, and much more. She had a deep love for all animals and a gentle spirit that shone through in everything she did.

Above all, Catherine was a beloved sister and aunt, cherished by her family and all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Michael Phipps.

Survivors include three sisters, Susan Gregerson, Judy Coleman, and Barbara Phipps; three brothers, Stephen, Andrew, and James Phipps; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation is Monday, September 22, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Western Grove Cemetery.  Father Ben Riley will officiate.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
