Casal Royce, age 77 of Mt. Judea, AR passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.

He was born January 28, 1929 at Mt. Judea the son of Arthur and Ada (Bolin) Royce. He was a member of Log Hall Church and was a lifetime resident of Newton County.

Those preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Joan Royce in 1992; grandsons, Kenneth Burks and James David Royce; granddaughter, Tina Burks; brothers, Howard and Loyd Royce; and sisters, Ola Collins, Euna Smith, and Vada Royce.

Survivors are his wife, Mildred (Campbell) Nichols Royce of Mt. Judea; children, Terry Siler of Harrison; Judy Cross and husband, Jimmie of Mt. Judea, David Royce and wife, Nina of Vendor; Danny Royce and wife, Jana of Harrison, Jimmy Royce and wife, Melissa of Harrison; step-son, Gary Nichols and wife, Maxine of Mt. Judea; step-daughter, Charlene Ham and husband, Jack of Russellville; 15 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and friends who will miss him.

Service were 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 2, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Bro.Jimmy Bohannon officiating. Burial was in Shaddox Cemetery at Pruitt. Pallbearers were J.C. Richardson, Dennis Collins, Denver Collins, Joe Wayne Collins, Kenneth Royce, and Joe Royce. Honorary pallbearers were Andy Campbell, Kenneth Henson, and Members of Log Hall Church. Visitation was held Wednesday, March 1, at the funeral home.
