Obituary
Carter T. West, age 81 of Marble Falls, AR, passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at Regency Hospital, in Springdale, AR.
The son of Carter T. West, Sr. and Katherine (Milton) West, was born January 20, 1927 in Marion, North Carolina.
He served in the U.S. Navy, had been a Chef, and was a Minister. He was a member of Living Water Full Gospel Church in Bellefonte and was active in the Jasper Christian Food Room and Minister's Fellowship in Jasper.
His parents and his son, Randy West, preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Delores (Randa) West; sons, Steven West, James West and wife, Oma, and Timothy West; daughter, Theresa Nelson and husband, David; brother, Frank West; and grandchildren, Chris "Chad" Nichols, Sara Smith, Janice Anderstrom, Daniel Nelson, and Matthew West.
Visitation was Thursday, May 1, 2008 with service Friday, May 2, 2008, both at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Bro. Richard Rambo officiated. Burial followed in Holmes Cemetery at Bellefonte. Pallbearers were Larry Trammell, Simpen Trammell, Arvin Adams, Derwin Martin, Jimmy Greenhaw, Anthony Bower, Jay Dee Gathright, and Roger Ricketts.
Memorials may be made in Carter's memory to Jasper Christian Food Room, P.O. Box 252, Jasper, AR, 72641.
