Carson L. Hicks, age 73, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The son of Patton and Ina Mae (Sturgill) Hicks was born on February 29, 1940 in War, West Virginia.
His greatest passions were raising horses, gardens and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Brian Lee Hicks; and one brother, Curtis Hicks.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hicks of the home; 1 daughter, Victoria Hicks of Harrison, Arkansas; 2 sons, Carson L. Hicks II and wife Carla of Gravette, Arkansas and Chris Hicks and wife Judi of Harrison, Arkansas; 1 daughter-in-law, Martha Hicks of Harrison, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren, Victoria Noel, Hoyt Herron, Katie Hicks, Brianna Hicks, Trey Hicks, Sydney Hicks and Kolbe Hicks; and 3 Great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
