Obituary
Carroll Frederick Weaver, age 99 of Wayton, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper, Arkansas.
The son of Jesse and Nellie Etta (Isminger) Wesver, he was born November 29, 1909 in Des Moines, Iowa.
He had worked as a brazer and a farmer, and was a veteran of World War II, serving his country in the United States Army.
He was of the Baptist faith and had been a resident of Newton County for 41 years.
Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, and nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors are his wife, Myrel (Beck) Weaver of Wayton; a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Jim Brasel of Pelsor; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; David and Sherrey Dotson and children, Mikayla, Hazel, Dale, and Jessica; Michael Dotson, Robins and Elizabeth Ewing and children, Jessie and Michael; Pam Craig and children, Samantha Brasel, Charlie Craig, and Rylee Olivia Brasel.
Graveside services were held Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Tarlton Cemetery near Lurton with Stanley Taylor officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
