Obituary
Carroll H. Johnson, age 77 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 5, 2009 at his home.
The son of Ed and Effie (Smith) Johnson, he was born August 23, 1932 at Valley Springs, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Martina Massengale and Juanita Stoneciper; and a brother, Junior Johnson.
Survivors are his wife, Priscilla (Mundy) Johnson of the home; daughter, Arleta Shipley of Hollister, MO; sons, John C. Lyndon and Jack Johnson, both of Harrison; eight grandchildren, Tammy Muller, Jeff Shipley, Andrew Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Even Johnson, Quinn Johnson, Shayla Johnson, and Todd Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Fisher Muller and Hunter Muller; three brothers, Aubrey Johnson of Harrison, Ernest Johnson of Oklahoma and Bob Johnson of Arizona; and one sister, Imogene Edinger of Arizona.
Visitation wqas Wednesday, October 7, 2009 with funeral service Thursday, October 8, 2009, both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Rev. Richard Myrick will officiate. Burial followed in Eoff Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harole Brasel, Ralph Yancy, J.D. Hill, Andrew Johnson, Jeff Shipley, and Evan Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were Tammy Muller, Rachel Johnson, Quinn Johnson, Shayla Johnson, Todd Johnson and his High School Graduation Class of Valley Springs.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
