Carolyne Jean Williams, age 74, of Harrison, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

The daughter of the late Manuel and Norma Jean (Harp) Forest was born in Harrison on June 11, 1948.  She worked as an environmental supervisor and after 34 years, retired from Hilltop Nursing Home.

Carolyne was saved in December 1982.  She was a precious woman of God and a faithful member of First Assembly of God until her health no longer permitted.

Carolyne was a hard worker and outdid herself in everything she did.  She always took care of everyone else and put their needs above her own. She enjoyed cooking for her family and everyone else.  She also loved shopping and crafting.  Carolyne was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandsons and great grandson.

Carolyne is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dwane Lee Williams; three daughters, Melissa Redding and husband Kirk, Shawnna Fortner and husband Dale, and Cindy Sexton and husband Scot; brother, Tony Forest and wife Suzanne; three sisters, Sue Nichols and husband Bill, Linda Carter, and Jennifer Moore and husband Jesse; four grandchildren, Clark Rudelis, Ashton Sexton, Alan Sexton and Lexie Fortner Woodell; one great grandson, Conley Mathias Gatlin; several nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and many dear friends who loved her and will miss her.

Graveside service will be at 11 AM, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at York Cemetery with Pastor Rick Moore officiating.

There is no visitation.

Pallbearers are Dale Fortner, Scot Sexton, Kirk Redding, Clark Rudelis, Ashton Sexton, and Alan Sexton.
