Obituary
Carolyn Bernice Hoppis, age 65 of Harrison, passed away at her residence on Sunday, June 7, 2009.
The daughter of Earlie and Marie (Trammell) Scrivner, she was born November 8, 1943 at Burley, Idaho.
She had lived here for 7 years, moving from Kansas and was a homemaker.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband, Reed Hoppis of the home; a son, Kevin Hoppis and wife Kathryn of Tonganoxie, Kansas; two brothers, Kenneth and wife, Mary Sue Scrivner of Nixa, MO, Doy and wife, Cheryl Scrivner of Harrison; a brother-in-law and his wife, Carl and Wanda Hoppis of Yardell, AR; three grandchildren, Levi, Anthony and Sarah all of Kansas.
Visitation was held Wednesday at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, prior to the service. Burial followed in Anderson Flat Cemetery with Bro. Robert Shaddox officiating. Pallbearers were Carl Hoppis, Duane Hoppis, Austin Hoppis, Alan Scrivner, Doy and Doyle Scrivner.
Honorary pallbearers were the nurses and aides at Hospice of the Hills, Dr. Chitsey, Jessica Greenhaw, staff at Main St. Medical Clinic, Special friends, Doris Mann and Dottie Holt.
