Carol Ann Dill, age 79 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Harrison.

The daughter of Vernon J. and Iva Ordell (Thomas) Pendergast was born on March 5, 1937 in Eugene, Oregon.

Carol enjoyed cross stitching, sewing, crafts, painting and photography. She loved music and was an amazing singer. She also loved anything to do with animals and cared for them greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Dill; a brother, Jay Pendergast and a sister, Lucille Dahlen.

She is survived by one son, Scott Dill and his wife Jean of Santa Barbara, California; 2 daughters, Cathie Dill of Brooklyn, New York and Jennifer Sherman and husband Mike of Harrison; a sister, Frances Alexander and husband Bruce of Harrison; 3 grandchildren, Jeremy Dill, David Dill and Victoria Sherman and 3 great-grandchildren, Bradley, Kennedy Marie and Michael. Carol is also survived by a son she met and informally adopted, Roger Davis. She will also be missed by many other family and friends who cared for her deeply.
