Obituary

Juanita Carol Banfield long time resident of Jasper, passed away May 19, 2015. She was born June 17, 1940 in Cincinnati, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her mother Wanda M. Arthur; her father William Roy Robbins, who was killed in WWII when Carol was 4 years old and by her brother Bill Robbins.

She is survived by a brother Doyle Robbins and his wife Anna of Dover, Arkansas; a sister Marilyn Sue Christensen and her husband Ron of Stevensville, Michigan; her daughter Anita Kreitlein of Clarksville, Arkansas, daughter Arlene Peaks and son-in-law Michael of Anna, Texas and daughter Sherri Allenfort and husband Bob of Dover, Arkansas. Carol also had nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Carol graduated from Dover High School in 1957. Carol worked at the Newton County Senior Center in Jasper for a number of years. Carol was also a volunteer and advocate for the Legacy Hospice program. Carol was also a regular contributor to the Newton County Times newspaper.

Carol's family would like to express their deepest thanks and love to her friends and support group of Jasper, Newton and Boone Counties; and especially to the staff of The highlands in Harrison, Arkansas for making her last days as pleasant as possible.

Cremation services provided by Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper, Arkansas.
