Obituary
Carl E. Evans, age 88 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday November 2, 2011 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The son of Ernest and Susie (Price) Evans was born January 29, 1923 in Hickory Plains, Arkansas.
He was a Army Air Corp veteran during World War II and was an Electrical Engineer for the Corp of Engineers.
He was also a member of Grace Christian Center in Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Geneva Evans; and a sister, Marie Goodwin of Stamps, Arkansas.
Survivors are his wife, Novel (Taylor) Evans of the home; sons, David Evans and wife Beth of Harrison and Steve Evans and wife Valerie of Little Rock, AR; brother, Everett Evans of Greers Ferry, AR; and two grandchildren, Katie Evans and Wyn Evans both of Little Rock, AR.
Cremation arrangements have been handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
There was a memorial service Saturday November 5, 2011 at Grace Christian Center with Pastor Tim Phillips officiating.
Memorials may be made to Grace Christian Center, P.O. Box 7, Harrison, AR 72602 or to the WWII Honor Flight Northwest Arkansas, 10475 Tyson Place, Bentonville, AR 72712.
