Calvin Mitchel Tyler, age 87 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 surrounded by his family in Harrison.

The son of Charlie Grover Tyler and Edna Rosa Lu (Mcgraw) Tyler was born in Waxahachie, Texas on November 11, 1933.

Calvin loved to tinker and liked to stay busy.  He never wanted to sit still for very long.  He was married for over 60 years to Mary (Inman) Tyler and through his job they were able to travel the world together.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Aaron Tyler and Brian Tyler; a brother, Richard Tyler, a sister, Linda Sue Tyler and a grandson, Christian Tyler.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Tyler of Harrison; two sons, Mark Tyler and his wife Beth, relocating to Harrison soon from North Carolina and Bruce Tyler and wife Wendy of Texas; a brother, Jerry Tyler of Oregon; a sister, Charlotte Ann Turner of Texas; 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
