Byrlen Davis, 81 of Deer, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, Friday, January 15, 2016.

He was born on September 23, 1934 in Limestone, Arkansas the son of W.F. and Mary (Lane) Davis. He married Betty (Ewing) Davis on October 7, 1957. They were happily married for 58 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Boyd, Noel, Loyd, Floyd and Evert and five sisters, Dora, Emma, Erie, Artie and Viven.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Davis of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Lequitta Davis of Deer; one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Sonny Carlton of Deer; three grandchildren, Vanessa Moore, Donavan Davis and Brianna Marshall; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kaden, McKenna and Presley and one on the way in July; one sister, Nora Plumlee and a host of other family and friends who will mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Monday, January 18, 2016 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Bobby Young and Steven Holt officiating. Burial will be in the Nail Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the funeral home.
